The World Dance Day began on 29 April 1982. The International Dance Committee of the International Theater Institute of UNESCO established on 29 April as the Dance Day. This day is celebrated as World Dance Day in memory of the birth of a great reformer Jean-Georges Nesse.
Purpose of Celebrating :- The aim of celebrating International Dancing Day in the whole world was to raise awareness of the importance of dance among the masses. Also, the attention of the people was to attract them to the world. Thereby spread awareness of dance among people. At the same time, the government had to make dance all over the world a proper place in all the systems of education. In the year 2005 the dance day was concentrated as a primary education. Many essays and paintings were also created by children in schools in schools. In 2007, dance was dedicated to children.
In Nepal, it will be celebrated today with grandparents, performing various diversity by performing various programs for proper respect to the dance, proper attention to human attention and enhancement of consciousness. It also include dance festival of Jatra Dance and should also be included in the course. Here also emphasized the need to develop folk dance like Newar, Navadurga, Rai, Lakhs, Dhima, Tamang Sheloo.
